We recognise there is a great deal of confusion about depleting fish stocks and sustainability.
James Knight is a vocal advocate of sustainability, which requires a balance of sourcing our products from UK waters which are under very good management, and handpicked overseas fishing grounds and fish farms.
Fresh fish is a precious commodity, and we are committed to encouraging our customers to eat more varieties of British fish from sustainable sources. We strongly encourage our customers to turn their attention to under-utlised species such as red gurnard, herrings, Yorkshire farmed Tilapia, and line caught pollack.
All it requires is an open mind – you’ll never know until you try it and with plenty of recipes to hand, there’s no excuse!
